Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can. This page lists every piece of personal data the site handles, why, and how to have it deleted.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Africa.Forex is operated by Friends Fashion Custom Ltd., a company registered in Bulgaria (VAT BG207248406), Trakia 209A, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

2. What we collect and why

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Sign-in cookies keep you logged in to your free account. They are strictly necessary and are set only after you sign in.
Local storage in your browser remembers lessons you have completed and calculator settings. It never leaves your device.
TradingView charts and price widgets are loaded from TradingView. TradingView may set its own cookies; see the TradingView privacy policy.

5. How long we keep it

Account data: until you delete your account, then removed within 30 days.
Alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
Checker searches and broker clicks: up to 24 months, then deleted or fully anonymised.
Withdrawal reports: kept while the broker is listed, as they contain no personal data.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights under the EU GDPR, South Africa's POPIA, Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 or Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023. These include the right to:

see the data we hold about you and get a copy;
correct it or have it deleted;
object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent;
complain to a regulator: the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection, South Africa's Information Regulator, Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

7. Age

Africa.Forex is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are stored only as hashes. Access to the database is limited to the people who run the site.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site and, if you have an account, by email. See also our terms of use.
