Is forex trading legal in South Africa?
Yes. Brokers that serve South Africans must be authorised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and carry an FSP number you can look up on the FSCA register.
What is an FSP number?
It is the licence number the FSCA gives an authorised financial services provider. Check that the FSP number on a broker's website belongs to the same company name on the FSCA register.
